The founder of Mildenberger Motors, Harold Mildenberger has been doing business in the Bitterroot Valley for over 50 years. He started with Arrow Chevrolet in the early 1950s and has watched it grow ever since. A lot of things may be different now, but the big smile you're greeted with is still the same.

Brandon Peterson
Brandon "Beezer" Peterson is the newest member of the Mildenberger Motors sales team. He recently graduated from college and is back home in Hamilton. Although new to the sales team, Beezer grew up in and around the car business and is ready to help you find the vehicle you need.

Leroy McCrossin

Leroy McCrossin wins the award for the most loyal Mildenberger Motors employee. In the nearly thirty years he has been with Mildenberger Motors he has helped the dream of a new car come true for many Bitterroot Valley residents.
Leroy and his wife Maggie have lived in Montana for more than seventy years. Leroy graduated from Darby High School in 1948. He and Maggie have ten children, nineteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He likes to say they are single handedly responsible for much of the valley’s population increase!
When he’s not at the dealership Leroy enjoys fishing and golfing. There is a real good chance you could catch sight of him on any given Wednesday at the golf course. Leroy’s nickname around here is “Big Al”. Next time you drop by you might want to ask him how he earned that name.

Stan Gingerich
Sales
Stan Gingerich has been in sales at Mildenberger Motors for three years and is considered our heavy duty truck expert. He is a graduate of Corvallis High School and attended the University of Montana. Stan and his wife Onita, who is a Corvallis Elementary teacher, are long time Bitterrooters. He has been involved with ranching here in the valley for 20 years.
Stan has a daughter, Olivia, currently studying nursing at Ohio State University and a son Shea, who is a junior at Corvallis High School.
When he is not at the dealership, Stan, who loves the outdoors, may be found four wheeling or hunting. You may even catch him playing a round of golf. If you want to know the latest results, standings or schedules on the NASCAR circuit, just come in and chat with Stan. He’ll know. He’s an avid fan.

Angela Kath
Parts Manager
Angela Kath has been around cars her entire life and the parts department manager at Mildenberger Motors for the last three years. Angie attended Wyotech and is an accomplished custom painter as well as a whiz at sheet metal fabrication and body work.
A Bitterrooter for twenty two years she is a graduate of Corvallis High School. Her advice to her customers is to always bring in your VIN number and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Angie will see to it you get the correct parts for your repair project.
When she isn’t here running the parts department like a well oiled machine, she can be found spending her time refinishing vehicles, snowmobiling or bow hunting. On a warm summer day if you look quick enough, you might catch a glimpse of Angie riding by on her motorcycle.

Scott Evers
Service Manager
You need to have someone check out that pesky noise you hear every time you start your truck, so you pull into the garage at Mildenberger Motors. It is likely the first person you see is Scott Evers. Scott has been an important part of the shop for eight years; two years as a service writer and six years as the manager of the service department. With twenty seven years experience in the automotive field, he knows his way around a wrench!
Scott has lived in Montana for forty years. He is a graduate of Darby High School and attended Arizona Automotive Institute. Scott has five children as well as four grandchildren. They really keep him busy attending wrestling matches as well as football and volleyball games.
Scott likes to hunt, camp and water ski. When he has time away from the shop, he knows how to take advantage of a snowy Montana winter day by buzzing around on his snowmobile.

Dave Heckeroth
Service Writer
When you drive into the service department at Mildenberger Motors whether it is to get your oil changed or because you are having a mechanical problem, chances are pretty good the helpful person greeting you is Dave Heckeroth. Dave has been in the automotive business for eleven years, six of them as a service writer for Mildenberger Motors.
A Montana resident for forty three years, Dave is a graduate of Sentinel High School. He and his wife Shawna, who is an addictions counselor, have lived in the Bitterroot for twenty two years. They are members of Corvallis Community Church and have three children: Evanie, Brooke and Nathaniel.
Dave’s interests are varied. He likes to fish and restore old pick up trucks. He also enjoys researching railroad history. His father and grandfather both worked for the Milwaukee Railroad. When Dave is not here making you feel welcome as you drive in the door, he truly enjoys spending time with his family.

Dave Doll
Service Technician
If you have had work done on your vehicle at Mildenberger Motors anytime in the past twenty years, chances are Dave Doll has been your technician. With thirty three years automotive experience he can diagnose the problem and have that engine purring like new in no time at all. He has his General Motors and ASE certifications and certainly knows his way around an engine.
Dave is a twenty year Bitterroot resident originally from Billings. His wife Rae Ann is a dental assistant for Dr. Greg Seltzer. He has a son Michael who shares a lot of the same pastimes as his dad.
Dave likes riding motorcycles, both dirt bikes and road bikes. On a snowy afternoon you may just catch him riding his snowmobile, but once in a while he may need to be reminded which end of the machine should be sitting down on the snow!
Justin Smith
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
You bring your vehicle to Mildenberger Motors because something isn’t quite right and you want it checked out. Justin Smith is just your man. He is one of our service technicians and he likes the challenge of finding out what ails a poor running engine. Justin graduated from Wyotech in 2007 with an associate degree in automotive technology and management. His tip to our customers; always get the oil changes done for that new car at the dealership.
Justin is a twenty year Bitterroot Valley resident and a graduate of Hamilton High School. He has a son, Damien, who is a cub scout and attends Corvallis Grade School.
Justin’s interests include Frisbee golf and snowboarding. Even when he’s not at the dealership, you may just find him turning a wrench getting that engine to sound perfect. Justin likes working on gasoline engines, which is his area of expertise.
Bart Ulrich
Service Technician
Bart Ulrich has been a technician at Mildenberger Motors for less than a year, but he has been in the automotive field for twenty five years. With all that experience and his ASE certification, he is excellent at diagnosing and repairing your vehicle. Bart also has an associate degree in CAD Drafting Technology.
He and his family have lived in Montana for five years. You may have purchased a latte from Bart’s wife, Kinya, who owns Friendly Giant Espresso in Corvallis. He has a grown daughter, Rachel, living in South Carolina. His son Cole may only be eight years old, but he likes to ski and loves riding motorcycles with his dad.
Bart is a very enthusiastic dirt bike fan with a great piece of advice for all of us whether we are on a bike or in a car: Always keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!
Jason Pliley
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Your car is your baby and when it’s time for an oil change you don’t want to trust it to just anyone. That’s where Jason Pliley comes in. When you bring your vehicle to Mildenberger Motors for an oil change, it will be professionally serviced by Jason who will treat it just like it was his own.
A twenty five year Bitterrooter, he grew up in Victor and graduated from Hamilton High School. He spent his summers on the family farm near Havre and has worked on and around machinery most of his life. He knows his way around an engine. Jason has a daughter, Naomi, who attends Washington Elementary.
He likes to 4 X 4 off road, snowboard and motocross. Jason likes anything motorized, fast, or preferably both. In the winter you just might catch sight of him at Lost Trail Ski Area making a run on his snowboard.
ADMINISTRATION
Carla Christofferson
Office Manager
Carla Christofferson has been the office manager at Mildenberger Motors for a year and a half. A native Montanan, born and raised in Butte, she has also lived in Missoula, Kalispell and Spokane WA.
Her husband, Bruce, is employed at Fastenal in Hamilton. Her son and daughter in law, Chris and Suzanne Albright live here with their three children Courtney, Ridge and Lainie. Carla also has a daughter and son in law, April and Pete Adams, who live in Belgrade.
Carla loves to golf, snow ski and camp as well as hike with Bruce and their border collie Fluff. Warm summer days they may be seen cruising around in their 67 Chevelle.
Carla is involved with Bitterroot Special Olympics as a member of the steering committee. She loves University of Montana football and goes to the Grizzly games every chance she gets. She is also a Gonzaga University basketball fan (go Zags) as well as a Mariners fan.

Karla Wallace
Accountant
Karla Wallace has spent more than five years of the eight she has lived in the Bitterroot Valley as the lead accountant for Mildenberger Motors. If you’ve purchased a vehicle, had your car serviced or bought a part, there is a good chance she has handled your money.
Karla is currently studying with the University of Phoenix online to finish her accounting degree. When she isn’t doing homework, you could probably catch her cheering on her two favorite baseball teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Seattle Mariners. She definitely takes being a baseball fan to the next level. Want to know the standings? Just ask Karla.

Ray Niesslein
Information Technology
Ray Niesslein is the IT marketing coordinater and internet guru for Mildenberger Motors. He comes well qualified with an A plus CompuServe certification and eight years experience as a network administrator. He also attended California State University Northridge. His first love was his 1968 Pontiac GTO but his heavy foot made a change in models necessary.
Ray has lived in Stevensville for fifteen years. He is a rock hound and has made a ten year hobby of landscaping his home in rock and log.. His wife Susan, a teacher at Sentinel High School for twelve years, is now retired. Ray has two daughters. Rachel and Jamie who recently moved to Seattle.
When he is not saving the day for us who are less computer savvy, Ray likes to enjoy the Montana sunshine playing bocce ball, horseshoes or cycling around the valley. After surviving the 1994 earthquake in Northridge Ca., he really appreciates living on less shaky ground here in the Bitterroot Valley.

Debbie Peterson

Debbie is the founders go-to girl for keeping his affairs running smoothly in this new high tech age. She always has a smile to offer and has been involved in our community and the company longer then I can recall. She is the steady hand in our crazy world and enjoys a life we can only wonder about.

Debbie Young
Reconditioning
When you drove away in your new car, there was a good chance it was prepared for delivery by Debbie Young. Debbie is one of the crew in our detailing and reconditioning department. She has seven years experience in the automotive field and we are glad the past two have been here at Mildenberger Motors.
Debbie’s husband Wes is an installer for AAA Lawn Sprinklers. Originally from Eugene Oregon, they have lived in the Bitterroot for nearly thirteen years.
Debbie spent many years riding and showing horses, but these days she prefers her horses under the hood. She is a member of the Bitterrodders Car Club and plans on adding another muscle car to the family. When she isn’t turning the used cars at Mildenberger Motors into perfection, she and Wes might be seen cruising the valley in their 1969 GTO.
